Sensirion Factory Hall
The Sensirion facility in Debrecen, inaugurated in 2021, comprises a modern 5,000-square-meter establishment within the Debrecen Regional and Innovation Science and Technology Park. The plant was inaugurated in September 2021 and has since been engaged in the production of sensors and microchips used in the automotive industry, healthcare, and many other sectors. The design and construction of the new manufacturing hall placed great emphasis on sustainability. The plant is entirely free from fossil energy sources, and it generates a significant portion of the required energy itself, boasting exceptional energy efficiency and environmental sustainability.
The building consists of two distinct sections: the eastern front building houses the social and administrative functions, such as the dining area, changing rooms, meeting rooms, open office areas, and a break room. On the western side, the manufacturing spaces are located on two levels, with the logistics area on the ground floor and the mechanical and electrical service rooms on the upper floor.
Our company undertook the manufacturing, installation, and assembly of aluminium and plastic doors and windows. During the project, we produced and installed a variety of aluminium and plastic structures, contributing to the building’s modern and functional design. We installed aluminium curtain walls, exterior and interior doors, emergency exit doors, and aluminium windows, using SCHÜCO and Aluprof systems. Additionally, we installed fixed plastic windows, also of the SCHÜCO type.
Overall, we manufactured and installed nearly 800 m² of door and window structures on site. These structures not only aesthetically complement the building but also enhance its energy efficiency and security. The materials and technologies we used ensured that the building meets modern requirements in every aspect, providing reliable and comfortable use in the long term.
The Sensirion manufacturing hall in Debrecen is not only a milestone for the company but also contributes to the promotion of local economic and technological development.
